“
Upon those who lived in a land of gloom a light has shone... For a child is born to us, a son is given to us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.”
-Isaiah 9:1-5
With deep joy and gratitude, I extend to you my prayerful best wishes for a holy and blessed Christmas!
As we gather in worship, the light of Jesus is shining on us all, whether parishioner or visitor, friend or family. Today we are witnesses of the Lord Jesus, human and divine, announcing to the world the great love and mercy of God.
So let us allow the light of Christ to fill our hearts and souls, so that in rediscovering or deepening our faith, we will renew our commitment to him and truly experience the blessings of Christmas. I pray that the light of Jesus will be with you today, tomorrow, and throughout the coming year.
Thank you for joining us in worship. You are always welcome here!
With the joy and peace of this Holy Season,
-Fr. Patrick
