The Grandparents Apostolate of Saints Joachim and Anne is committed to helping grandparents to live holy lives; and to plant seeds of faith, hope and love in the lives of their grandchildren.
Entrusting themselves and their families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, members live in prayerful hope that their grandchildren will grow up to be men and women who are deeply rooted and built up in Jesus Christ; and that they will be reunited with their grandchildren in heaven someday.
Following a gathering of grandparents on Tuesday, July 26, the feast of Sts. Joachim and Anne, the Grandparents Apostolate (GA) was inaugurated on November 9, 2011. Since the first gathering, the GA has held 14 events with a total of 163 participants from Nativity as well as 29 neighboring parishes.
