Are you looking for a fun summer project?
We are again looking for volunteers to mark, cut, and/or sew simple, durable bags, which are then filled with toiletries and donated by St. Vincent de Paul to our homeless neighbors.
These bags are weather resistant and re-usable. All materials are donated by local upholstery and canvas shops, and parishioners like you who have weather-proof fabric left over from projects. No experience is necessary, and all ages can help!
Last summer we completed over 200 bags. This is also a great way to engage those bored pre-teens in a worthwhile volunteer project.
